When the New York Liberty came to us for their 2026 season intro, the brief had two jobs baked into it: honor the WNBA's 30th anniversary and introduce a record-breaking roster at the start of a title chase — in one media day, one shoot window, and two weeks of prep squeezed around a history-making CBA.

Instead of picking one story, I concepted, and directed two. THEN rewinds to 1996 — flip phones, vintage Jeeps, The Fugees, archival footage from the Liberty's inaugural season — cut with today's players in throwback jerseys. NOW is a New York summer at full volume: Bronx block parties, Brooklyn sound system culture, Harlem stoops, streets from Queens to Coney Island.

Both films are anchored by the most important part—real fans — the people who've shown up from MSG to Westchester to Barclays through every era of Liberty basketball. Made for fans by one of the biggest fans :)
