Perrier: A Century of Art – Director’s Cut

To celebrate the debut of Andy Warhol’s never before seen short film San Diego Surf, Interview Magazine partnered with Perrier to present the film during Art Basel Miami / Miami Art Week 2011. As a prelude to the film, Perrier wanted to highlight it’s past collaborations with the world’s most prolific artists, including Andy Warhol*.

Using the Perrier archive and brand materials, I selected key pieces from Perrier’s advertising history and created a visual timeline from the 1920′s to 2010 with featured artwork to include Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Bernard Villemot, Milton Glaser and more. To make the still images come to life, I brought in famed animator Ricardo Fernandes of Sao Paulo, Brasil.

*shown is my personal director’s cut featuring music by Sergio Mendes. this not the final version.
